Remember

Written for a good friend.

From the time you began to love me,
I loved you! I never failed you!
Yet you still kept a secret,
A hidden cross that I would bear.
You shouted to the world my secrets!
You hid from my calling!
And loved me falsely!
Shall I continue my love for you?
No! I shall find my Prince Charming,
And you shall pay for this crime,
This crime of betraying my love!
Why did you leave me,
Alone in that night?
Shall this be an end?
Or rather a new beginning?
So now we say goodbye?
Or do we again say hello?
Of course, I shall remember life and love,
But more importantly,
